How to make Tamarind Rice:
- Soak tamarind in water and extract juice out of it
- Now cook the rice, add salt and a little bit of oil and mix it well. keep it separately.
- Now take a frying pan, take tamarind extract, add salt, turmeric powder in it and cook until it becomes thick.
- Add this cooked tamarind extract into the rice and mix well.
- Now heat oil in a pan, add chana dal, green chillies, urad dal, pea
nuts, red chillies, curry leaves, mustard, jeera and hing and fry them
properly.,
- Once they turn brown and mustard starts to splutter, mix all these things to the above mentioned prepared rice.
